My Approach to Helping
I believe in meeting each of my clients where they are, allowing them to truly be the expert of their own lives. I empower my clients to guide me in showing their struggles, goals, strengths, and stories. This allows me to create a customized approach for each individual, utilizing the client's current strengths and providing practical tools and education to improve overall quality of life. It's important to me to provide a safe and comfortable environment in my practice, which gives space for processing deep trauma or to laugh about the little things. Modalities I use frequently in my practice include: trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, motivational enhancement, solution-focused and person centered therapy.
