More Info About My Practice

As we work together I'll help you find specific ways to cope better with everyday life and feel more in control and confident. We'll explore all parts of your life, past and present, and see what may contribute to how you're feeling now. You'll gain an understanding of how the events and relationships that you've experienced have shaped who you are. We'll build a picture of how you'd like to be in the future and see how you can achieve that. We'll also work out what to look for so that you will know that therapy is working.

When we meet you'll see that I'm not the type to sit in silence. Rather, I ask questions, make comments, give suggestions, and may even set homework. You'll also hear my British accent as I'm originally from London.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I am genuinely interested in people and discovering what makes them who they are. I enjoy the challenge of finding out what makes people tick and identifying the best way to help them achieve their goals. There are so many creative ways of doing this in therapy and that's what sets therapist apart from one another. It's important to find the right fit as no two therapists are alike. When a person connects with their therapist is when real progress and growth can happen.
