My Role as a Therapist
With a deep belief that true healing emerges when the connection between mind, body, and spirit is honored, this work is rooted in a humanistic, trauma-informed, and experiential approach. Before becoming a therapist, Ashley spent over a decade working in the film and television industry as a set decoration buyer and as a photographer. These creative roles required intuitive listening, expressiveness, an eye for the unseen, and authenticity. These early experiences influence her therapeutic presence that is attuned, imaginative, and deeply respectful of each client?s unique narrative.
Ashley has also witnessed profound healing and transformation through emotional sobriety and the recovery process?both personally and professionally?which has shaped her deep compassion for individuals navigating substance and alcohol use, as well as destructive and compulsive choices. She holds space with care for those in recovery, and for those seeking a path toward reconnection with themselves.
With a special passion for intersectional women?s issues, Ashley supports clients who feel stuck in cycles of codependency, low self-worth, compulsive relationship patterns, or disconnection from their sexuality and voice. She works with those who feel unseen or unheard, and who are longing to build self-advocacy, authentic expression, and healthier relationships.
Trained in experiential modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), equine-assisted therapy, and Sex therapy, Ashley integrates mindfulness, intuitive art techniques, and attachment-based practices. Her approach encourages embodiment, exploration, and integration?helping clients make sense of how past experiences shape the present while nurturing a more connected, compassionate inner life.
Ashley creates a safe space for clients to feel deeply seen, and empowered to rewrite their story in a way that aligns with their values, truth, and authenticity. Her work is guided by the belief that healing is not about fixing what you believe is broken, but about remembering and reclaiming who you've always been and returning home to Self.
