What's My Approach to Therapy?

Perhaps you or your child may feel anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, or quick to react. Big feelings might burst out in moments of intensity or stay tucked quietly inside. Sometimes the body tells the story first, such as with tight shoulders, restlessness, a sense of disconnection, or pulling away when comfort is needed. Talking alone isn’t always enough, especially when emotions live in the body.

My work with you is to slow down, listen inward, and grow curious about what their bodies are saying.

Together, we use movement, play, gentle awareness, and connection to explore emotions and protective patterns. We work toward building inner safety, resilience, and a deeper relational connection.

I’m here to walk alongside you or your child on your journey toward healing, safety, and growth. Every session is tailored to your unique nervous system and grounded in evidence-based practices. Through trauma-informed care, somatic work, attachment-focused therapy, DBT skills, and even dream exploration, we support healing from the inside out, in ways that feel safe, compassionate, and aligned with your pace.

I deeply honor each person’s story and support the development of emotional regulation, self-understanding, and personal insight. My hope is to help you or your child build resilience, release old patterns, and cultivate a more grounded, connected, and confident sense of self.

Together, we move toward healing, connection, and an authentic, lasting relationship with yourself and others.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

With state-endorsed childhood development training, trauma-informed certification, and somatic therapy credentials, I bring a holistic and grounded approach to healing. My additional training in DBT and attachment-focused therapy allows me to help individuals, children, and families understand their emotional worlds, even the parts that feel wordless, overwhelming, or held in the body.

Over the course of my career, I have supported clients across the lifespan and in a wide range of environments. My early work centered around infants, young children, and teens, where I focused on emotional development, attachment, and regulation. As my practice grew, I expanded to support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational patterns, and life transitions.

I have had the privilege of serving in leadership and specialized clinical roles, including:
Supporting clients in adoption-related contexts, helping families navigate attachment dynamics, identity development, and complex relational experiences.
Working in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for youth, offering structured therapeutic support, crisis stabilization, and skills-based interventions for adolescents experiencing significant dysregulation and emotional overwhelm.
Managing a substance abuse treatment program, providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care to individuals and families impacted by addiction.

These experiences allow me to meet clients with deep compassion, clinical insight, and attunement to how the nervous system, environment, and relationships shape healing. No matter the setting or stage of life, I approach each person with steadiness, respect, and confidence in their capacity to grow.
