My Approach to Helping
Whether it's teaching children and families valuable communication, problem solving and self-regulation skills, adults and adolescents healing from the past, or exploring and capitalizing on strengths to create the life you want to live, we work together to remove the obstacles that have gotten in your way.
My clients find me because they are searching for something more.
Someone who "gets them."
Someone who can create a tailored plan to meet their needs.
Someone to connect with who will help them make the changes that they have always wanted or have tried to make but have gotten stuck.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If transportation, scheduling, or time is an issue, you might want to consider Online Counseling. As a Board Certified Telemental Health Counselor, I offer video-conference counseling through a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform, like Facetime, only HIPAA compliant. You always have this option with private pay. I am a telemental health provider for UHC PPO and some BCBS policies will provide this benefit. Check with your insurance company if you are considering this option.
The Board Certified Telemental Health Counselor credential identifies those professional counselors who are uniquely trained in best practices for delivering traditional counseling through technological means. Catherine, as a BC-TMH, has met nationally established distance counseling criteria and adheres to the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Code of Ethics and Policy Regarding the Provision of Distance Professional Services.
