My Approach to Helping
If you’re feeling stuck, know that you are not alone. Negative thoughts, anxiety, depression, the inability to relax, substance abuse, relationship issues and divorce, insecurities, unhelpful habits, catastrophizing — you name it, people get stuck there. As people, we can get stuck in our own way of seeing things. If you’re feeling stuck, often the best remedy is to invite another perspective on things. With the help of a safe and trusted therapist, you can explore new points of view that can provide more openness to new energies.
I believe in the importance of catharsis, of releasing emotions by expressing them. You are unlikely to move past the places in your life where things are stagnant unless you stop suppressing the ideas and feelings around that stagnation. Thus, I provide a safe, comfortable, cathartic environment in my sessions. You can express your emotions freely to me. In our work together, we will explore solutions, confront mindsets that are holding you back, and empower you with the strength to deal with and overcome anything. You can do it!
