My Approach to Helping
We all face challenges in navigating our way through life in pursuit of the ultimate goal- to live a meaningful, balanced, and happy life and to share it with those we love. As is part of life, there exists an endless array of obstacles that can obstruct the path toward this goal. These may include trauma, failuredisappointment, negative thought patterns, emotion dysregulation, fearanxiety, problematic relationships and skills deficits. We often try to solve these problems and wind up pursuing solutions that keep us in repetitive, unproductive patterns or may even make things worse.
Through an active, collaborative partnership, my role is to help you identify what is getting in the way of your path toward emotional, physical and spiritual balance and work with you to establish and implement a plan that will target these barriers, effectively clearing the path for forward movement. As my part of the partnership, I bring clinical expertise, experience, and evidenced based treatment approaches all wrapped within a compassionate, personable and empathetic style.
