My Approach to Helping
When will you ever be good enough? Are you constantly striving to get it just right? Do you compare yourself to others and wonder why they make it look so easy? These are important and sometimes difficult questions to ask yourself. It's helpful to talk with a therapist when you're sensing that it's time to change, but might be nervous about taking the first step.
It takes a lot of courage to really look at what's happening in your life. Sometimes we don't even realize how much pressure we put on ourselves when trying to live up to unrealistic expectations.
More Info About My Practice
We'll talk through things that you never thought you'd say out loud.
Participating with the expressive arts, you can safely approach feelings that may otherwise be difficult to verbalize. With expressive writing prompts and spontaneous images, you can start healing in a way that feels fun, safe, and uniquely you. It is my view that we are all creative people, whether we call ourselves an "artist" or not. You have the ability to create a meaningful life and that starts with self acceptance.
