My Approach to Helping
I have over 20 years of counseling experience. I realize that people don't care how much a therapist knows until they know how much a therapist cares. My approach is often described by clients as warm and down to earth. I individualize my approach to meet a client\'s needs and personality. My approach often includes elements of Somatic experiencing and relaxation training , CBT, strengths-based positive mental imagery, emotional regulation building skills, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, EMDR elements, self-soothing skills, and psychodynamic. I have a collaborative approach and use the interventions that a client prefers. There is hope. Help is here.
