My Approach to Helping
Therapy is not one-size fits all; especially, when working with complex and painful pasts. My role is to really listen and respond with a treatment as unique as you. My passion is to create a space for you to explore who you were, what happened (or didn’t happen), who you are now, and who you want to be. You have likely tried to find ways to heal on your own or even with someone else, but it just didn’t work or bring the relief that you crave. Or worse, it added a new layer of pain. You are the expert on you and deserve to work with someone who has specialized training to help you work through your pain and trauma how you choose.
That’s where I come in. I have a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and advanced training from international leaders in the trauma field which equip me to specialize in working with clients with various types of traumatic or stress-related experiences. Additionally, I use skills from my trainings as a Registered Play Therapist and Board-Certified Music Therapist.
Our work together is an investment in you. Together we will find new ways to approach coping that are personalized and powerful in the moment. But more importantly, you will gain insight, understanding, courage, and endurance that will last for years to come.
