My Approach to Helping
My goal is to help you achieve real change, whether it's in dealing with a difficult current situation or breaking old patterns that keep you from living a more fulfilling life. Common issues that bring people to therapy include relationship problems, work-related stress, feeling stuck in a rut, and intense sadness or worrying. Being able to talk about these subjects in a warm, welcoming space can help you find peace.

Some people worry that they can't go to a Marriage and Family Therapist if they're not married. This is not the case. I work with both individual adults and couples. I also work with teenagers.
In order to protect everyone's safety during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, I am seeing clients via online video chat sessions or via phone sessions. This is a challenging time, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

My own background is as a writer in the entertainment industry and I'm very aware of the emotional stresses of that field. I have experience helping clients who struggle with procrastination, feelings of inadequacy, or who have great anxiety from working in such an often unstable field. Helping clients to overcome these issues and others that may hold back their creativity has been a focus of treatment.
