My Approach to Helping
Looking for a counselor can be overwhelming. It is often difficult to decide on who you want to share your deeper thoughts and emotions with. I want to ensure you feel comfortable in the therapy session and know that you are talking to someone who is present and engaged in helping you.
Working with me you can expect to feel safe and understood. I generally guide you in therapy by building rapport and trust, providing some education on the topic, and identifying the roots of your concerns and areas for growth. Then we will work together to adjust your thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back from living your best life.
