My Approach to Helping
I believe that therapy is for EVERYONE, whether you want learn more about yourself, break free from old patterns, heal past and present trauma, process and understand your emotions, or simply have a listening ear- therapy is for you!
I graduated from Flagler College with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Masters degree from Jacksonville University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in marriage and family counseling. When I am not working you can find me rock climbing, baking sweet treats, or reading with my cat.
I am passionate about human rights and use a multicultural and feminist based lens alongside a strength based and person centered approach as I strive to provide unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence.
I am a trained EMDR therapist and level one Gottman trained. I specialize in trauma work, gender and LGBTQIA+ issues, couples counseling, women’s issues, mood disorders, loneliness, healing from toxic relationships, and everyday life stressors.
Come with me as we discover what it means to truly live as we find strength in our suffering, build resilience, and reclaim joy in our lives.
