I believe that people can change and grow through a compassionate, intelligent, caring therapeutic relationship that respects the rich inner life which exists in each person. By beginning in the counseling process with you, I strive to help you face the truth of your life, and to invite depth, imagination and beauty into the healing process. In addition, therapy will help to recognize your places of brokenness in order to set them right and to learn to deeply care about yourself and those with whom you share your life.

More Info About My Practice

I accept a fee for therapy or in limited cases will participate with you in filing insurance. The matters of fees, insurance, method of payment, length of therapy will be engaged in a free consultation, if you desire, that will help us to determine if doing therapy together is a good fit for both of us.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

As a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, I have specific background and training in the integration of your spirituality and your therapeutic issues. I do not impose my belief upon you, but allow a space where your beliefs and practices can been seen as a source of strength as you undergo the inner healing process.
In addition, I am trained in the Anderson Method of Therapeutic Psychogenics for Lifelong Weight Control. This is a method of weight loss counseling that is tailored to the uniqueness of each individual who is seeking to be fit and healthy as well as to achieve many other life goals.
