Therapy is a collaboration, a trusting and nonjudgemental relationship through which others can develop tools and resources to help guide them towards resolution and self discovery. My practice modality is eclectic and together we will determine what will be most helpful while working towards your goals. You and I, in an empathic and safe environment, will explore what has brought you to seek counsel and together we will take the time needed to achieve comfort and self discovery.
My therapy practice is interactive, solution oriented and supportive. Your strengths and inner resources are unique to you and the exploration in a supportive and trusting relationship can help you identify your abilities to overcome your challenges and concerns.
I have always considered it a privilege to share the journey of others seeking to discover and illuminate their best self.

More Info About My Practice

I have been in private practice for over 30 years and while I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, I work in many areas of mental health, including depression, anxiety, school and career issues, behavioral difficulties, trauma and grief. I have developed a strong professional relationship with area schools and medical professionals as well as attorneys seeking counsel for their clients in areas of co parenting and divorce.
I have experience working in school systems and mental health facilities as well my private practice and run groups for eating disorder support, both for patients and parents/caregivers.
