Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I'm a board certified Sex Therapist, which means that I have unique, specialized training in all sexual issues. These include sexual desire mismatch, sexual identity issues, sexual addictions, past sexual trauma healing, and mind/body work on sexual dysfunctions. I work exclusively with couples, LGBT, and individuals who are experiencing less than satisfactory sex lives, and those who have "intimacy deficiency syndrome".
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Attending therapy is actually a strength- it takes courage and determination to address personal issues that are interfering with one's life. My practice focuses on recognizing that strength of an individual or couple, and building on it. The weakness is in not addressing the problems when your life is falling apart.
