Welcome to my practice. I can help you access the life of your dreams.

It's common to struggle to accomplish what you want. Painful emotions, memories, thoughts, sensations, and habits can all push you toward unhealthy choices that undermine your goals. I help people focus on what matters and overcome their distractions and barriers.

I use research-backed treatments that have been proven effective. These approaches focus on how our emotions and behavior affect one another. If you're sick of your thoughts controlling your life, I can help put you back in the driver's seat.

I've successfully helped my clients overcome a wide range of issues, including grief, loss, relationship challenges, parenting difficulties, anxiety, and depression.

Your relationship with your therapist is the single most important factor in whether or not therapy will succeed. I offer my clients encouragement, acceptance, and validation while challenging negative and unhealthy thoughts. I avoid judging my clients, and focus on helping them find solutions. I validate my clients' experiences and feelings, even when those feelings and behaviors lead to unhelpful outcomes. I embrace even the smallest changes, since these small changes are part of the journey toward healthy living. I challenge the status quo and listen to my clients' values.

I have three general goals for my clients:
1. Help them make intentional choices rather than living on autopilot. If you're controlled by your emotions or habits, you can't achieve your goals, and I work to help you live a life that supports your dreams and your values.
2. Trust your experiences rather than just your mind. Our thoughts are heavily influenced by our emotions, by negative past experiences, and by various insecurities. I help you learn from experience rather than relying on fleeting fears and unhealthy thoughts.
3. Leave your emotional mind behind and settle into your wise mind. When you only experience the world through emotions, you miss important information and your perspective is distorted. Your wise mind listens to your emotions, but also considers reason and experience. Your wise mind knows and embraces your values, and is the key to helping you achieve a better life.
