I am a therapist with over thirty-five years experience who specializes in seeing couples. If you are experiencing problems in your marriage, couples counseling (also known as marriage counseling, marital therapy, or couples therapy) can be of great help in dealing with the difficulties you face. You may be experiencing repetitive arguments and poor communication, issues related to parenting, finances, dealing with extended families, or intimacy, or you may be trying to cope with the aftermath of an affair. Some couples struggle with less specific crises but feel they have lost a sense of closeness and connection.
