My Approach to Therapy

From social media to financial responsibility, and everything in between, navigating life as a 20- or 30-something in today’s world can be overwhelming. This often leaves many of us wondering where to start or trying to figure out how we got to this place. With all of these things comes stress, anxiety, pressure, and countless challenges. While the world may tell us that figuring all this out on our own is “adulting”, sometimes we simply need support getting through it all. I help people who are struggling to adjust to the changes life creates for them. Whether you are dealing with pressure from society to be at a certain place in life at a particular age, or personal, family, or relationship issues, or work stress, I get it. When working with me, people feel understood and respected. They feel more confident, and ready to conquer their fears. I would love to support you in creating your best life!

My Role as a Therapist

My goal as a therapist is to work myself out of a job! By this, I mean that I see my role as supporting you in gaining the insight and skills needed to confidently manage life's challenges on your own. To tap into your own strengths to find helpful and long-term solutions. I'm here to help you find what's right for you.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Everyone experiences struggles and hardships at some point in life. There's no manual for being human! It's totally normal to need support sometimes, or even just a different perspective. Therapy offers a unique opportunity to work things out in a safe, neutral, private environment, without judgement. So, if there is something you feel is holding you back or keeping you from fully living a happy, healthy life, then therapy may be a helpful tool for you.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Therapy is not about highlighting "weakness", but finding your strength. Struggling from time to time is the nature of life. I approach therapy from a strengths-based, holistic perspective, meaning that I believe in supporting your wellness by building upon your strengths.
