As a psychoanalytic therapist, I work especially well with patients who experience emotional difficulties that they have a hard time understanding. I have extensive experience working with individuals who feel depressed, anxious, confused and frustrated with their daily lives. My approach to helping people is to develop curiosity about the long-standing emotional, thought and behavioral patterns that they have struggled to understand and to learn as much as we can about these patterns. In being curious and learning as much as we can, I believe we will find the answers necessary for freedom and growth.

Health Savings Accounts, cash, checks and all major forms of credit/debt cards are accepted forms of payment. Insurance Reimbursement receipts are available.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I believe that therapy enables us to make the unconscious and unknown, known through insight, compassion, and curiosity. This process enables us to find flexibility within ourselves and live our lives in new, more powerful ways.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

I often see clients two to three times per week. This frequency allows us to deepen and intensify the work in a way that meeting once a week does not. Working at this depth gives the client the opportunity to really address the long-standing unhelpful patterns that have kept them stuck. Deciding to work this frequently is a decision made together and the fees are adjusted accordingly.
