My Approach to Helping

Have you been finding yourself feeling stressed or irritable? Is your work or home life raising levels of anxiety or just plain making you feel bad? Are you at a point in your life where change feels inevitable, yet you don't know what to do? This can be very difficult place to be. Talking issues over with a caring professional can help you make decisions that feel right for you. Oftentimes, positive change can emerge from the most trying of life circumstances. In working with individuals or couples in the midst of a life change, I remind myself that the Chinese symbol for crisis is also the symbol for opportunity. I'd like to help you find the opportunity in the crisis. Instead of struggling with anxious or sad feelings, I would like to see you find happiness in your work, your relationships, and in your self. I both look forward to your call and to working with you.

More Info About My Practice

I treat each individual with respect and understanding as I believe in facilitating differing and unique modes of personal growth. By creating a compassionate environment, I support individuals, couples, and families as they work through concerns that are prohibiting them from fully engaging in the successful and purposeful life they desire. Be it short-term or long-term therapy, I assist clients in identifying the core of their issues and in developing interventions, skill building, and a course of action that will lead to positive solutions. This may result in better communication, enhanced relationships, and an overall improved self-image, all of which contribute to success in both personal and professional realms. My concern for you is tempered by a sense of humor, and we will work together to restore balance in your life through our caring and productive partnership.
