As a mental health counselor specializing in grief therapy and relationship therapy, I offer in-person and online counseling sessions.
Psychological, emotional and social well-being is an important part of overall health. When mental health is out of balance, it can negatively impact physical health. The reverse is also true. Common factors that affect mental health include the loss of a loved one, a medical diagnosis, relationship and family issues, difficulty finding life-work balance, job loss or work dissatisfaction, life transitions and past or current traumatic events. These challenges are part of living and being human. Counseling is one resource that can help you get through difficult times by processing your feelings and learning coping tools.
My experience includes providing grief therapy, supporting abuse and trauma recovery and working with people experiencing anxiety, depression and childhood trauma. I also work with individuals, couples seeking couple therapy and families seeking family therapy. My goal is to help individuals, couples and families function better, both individually and as a unit.
I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where clients know this is a safe space, free of judgment. I have also lived and worked in different countries, which has helped me build a religiously and culturally sensitive practice.
