My Approach to Helping
I have been in the mental health field for 12 years and have experience in various settings. These include in-patient and out-patient hospital treatment programs, private therapy, and high-school social work. My background includes extensive experience working with adolescents and their families on various issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions and school performance. My approach to therapy is goal-oriented and solution-focused, with emphasis on developing positive coping skills and self awareness. I enjoy helping adolescents, individuals and families work through challenging times in their lives. I received my Masters degree in Social work from Jane Addams School of Social Work in Chicago. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
