My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, strengths-based, and tailored to each child’s unique needs and experiences. I enjoy working with children and adolescents, and I strive to create a welcoming space where they feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I focus on meeting each client where they are and helping them build emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, my role is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where children and teens can explore challenges, develop new skills, and build on their strengths. I use evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, art therapy, and compassion-focused techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s goals. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful growth, emotional well-being, and lasting positive change.
