My Approach to Therapy

Are you struggling with anxiety, addiction, trauma, or a chronic health issue? Within a caring, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic environment, I will work with you to resolve your difficulties, encourage personal growth, and improve your physical and mental well-being. Leveraging my expertise as a Health Psychologist, I employ established therapeutic approaches to address the psychological aspects associated with various mental and physical conditions. My treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone can heal and thrive, even amidst the most formidable circumstances. Whether you're grappling with profound emotional distress, feeling overwhelmed, or navigating a health condition, my commitment is to guide you through the challenges toward a path of growth and resilience. Our initial sessions will focus on establishing a collaborative relationship and pinpointing your treatment objectives. While nurturing our connection, I will integrate evidence-based treatments tailored to your concerns. Specializing in health psychology, I emphasize fostering mental and physical healing through psychological therapy. Together, let's work to manifest a more fulfilling and healthy life.

My Practice & Services

As a Health Psychologist, I specialize in helping adolescents and adults overcome anxiety, trauma, addiction, sleep difficulties, health-related concerns, and life transitions so they can lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. I am Board Certified in Biofeedback, a Certified Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Sleep Hypnosis Specialist. I am also a National Register Health Service Psychologist and a professional member of the American Psychological Association, Arizona Psychological Association, EMDR International Association, and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. My approach is highly individualized and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate a variety of proven treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clinical hypnosis, biofeedback, and mindfulness-based interventions. By addressing the connection between mind and body, I help clients build resilience, reduce distress, and create meaningful, lasting change. I provide secure teletherapy services to residents of Tennessee, Arizona, and Illinois, as well as all participating PSYPACT states, allowing individuals to access specialized care from the comfort of their homes. I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare PPO plans for residents of TN, AZ, and IL, and am an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement benefits, and I am happy to provide the documentation needed to facilitate reimbursement. I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns and determine whether we would be a good fit. To get started, please visit my website, text my office at (480) 448-6755, or email me with any questions. I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and well-being.

My objective is to nurture a compassionate and supportive space that empowers you to rekindle hope and instigate lasting positive transformations. Central to my role is establishing an open and trusting relationship where you can comfortably delve into your experiences, dismantle obstacles hindering your natural growth, and effect positive changes.
