I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents. I have spent the last thirty years helping young people work through their many and varied challenges. In addition to my private practice, I worked for 19 years as a therapist treating children and adolescents at an Out-Patient Center affiliated with Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. As well as working with children, I am experienced in assisting parents in acquiring skills that enhance their ability to raise high-functioning and happy children and I conduct both private and group parenting classes.
University Counseling is a private practice located in Irvine, California where independent therapists treat children, adolescents and their families in a comfortable and non-threatening environment. We have significant experience in dealing with all aspects of child therapy including behavioral and emotional problems, and the treatment of victims of trauma.
