My Approach to Helping

Healing is a process which can continue throughout our life. Each client's internal wisdom can be a guide in selecting healing techniques, interventions, rituals and pathways uniquely suited to his/her needs. In my practice I utilize research-based interventions, leaving space for the "magic" of the relationship between client and therapist to support the healing. "There are limits to my power" is a personal statement I often make and encourage my clients to also consider, while at the same time acknowledging the unlimited power available to us all. "Too often we underestimate how quickly our feelings are going to change because we underestimate our ability to change them." David Gilbert, PhD. Change can be difficult! An important part of my practice is to coach you through the change process, helping you achieve and maintain new healthy-lifestyle behaviors.

More Info About My Practice

My experience as a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practitioner with the Integrative Medicine Team of a large medical center has prepared me to offer a holistic approach to my clients, incorporating nutritional, energetic, biofeedback and Chinese Medicine therapies. My view of healing is reflected in this quote from Hipocrates - "Natural forces wthin us are the true healers of disease". Please visit my website to learn more about the interventions I use in my pactice.

I offer evening and Saturday hours to accommodate my clients work schedules.
