What's My Approach to Therapy?
Licensed in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, D.C., Utah, Missouri, Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Virginia and Maryland!
Making sure you are comfortable and at ease from the first contact is a priority and a must. My strengths lie in my ability to make connections and foster a warm relationship, even with those who are apprehensive. This is because of the improvements and benefits seen almost immediately. I know sometimes making that first call and showing up to that first appointment can feel overwhelming. I often find that the first session can feel relieving by the time you have left- that you felt good, understood, and hopeful.
I have been working with children, teens, and adults both in the public school system and in a clinical setting for 20 years. Using a practical, empathic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, a genuine, authentic style, and a commitment to the process of therapy, people who have met with me have successfully developed coping and social skills, managed eating issues, body image struggles, tamed and understood their anxieties and depression, increased their self-confidence, understood and resolved family concerns, and so much more.
If you are not sure if I can help, call me and feel me out. Check out my website or even send me an email (I reply pretty quickly!).
My Practice & Services
We are a niche practice that is responsive and attentive. I have a small number of associates who consult with me several times a week.
Offering reasonable fees, flexible schedules, and helping you feel prioritized, valued, and understood, while helping you move forward in whatever direction you need is our priority and our job.
We are licensed in several states as well for telehealth- email me to inquire more!
I am in person in Skokie with associates practicing in Northfield, and telehealth is available in many locations!
