My Approach to Helping
I have been working with and facilitating the efforts of individuals and couples to achieve their goals -- the most important of which is to be happy. Whether single or married, most people who struggle with relationships are hurt, fearful or frustrated. These feelings comprise the elements of anger. I assist my clients in identifying the key issues (either alone or with their partner) and defusing them by teaching cognitive strategies, and then guiding the implementation of new, healthier behavior(s). I provide a safe place where respect and confidentiality are ever-present. "Sometimes you need to talk before you walk."
