My Approach to Helping

I help adolescents, teens, and young adults who are seeking to make meaning from their confusing or inexplicable life experiences. I help people who are struggling to find the good in themselves or their life; those who are experiencing chaos, grief, trauma, and change.

I specialize in bipolar, trauma, LGBTQ+, neurodiversity, mood issues, spirituality, and relationships. My therapeutic approach is primarily informed by relational psychoanalytic theories.

I believe that people are good. That even the worst things we do or feel are fundamentally rooted in a desire for something good. I want you to find that good, in yourself and in your life, and I knows that process may be difficult, painful, and long. My goal is to facilitate a relationship where you are free to explore; to grow more into who you want to be.

My Therapy Focus

In my relationship with clients, I focus on security and playfulness. I am curious about unconscious patterns of thought, behavior, and experience, and I will share my curiosities with you in hopes that together we can come to a deeper understanding of your mind and what makes up your sense of self.
