What's My Approach to Therapy?
Are you unhappy with the path you are on? Are you uncertain how you even ended up here? Often in life we know we are dissatisfied, but are perhaps not sure why, and are even less certain about what to do to change it. This impacts our functioning, self-esteem, and ability to deal with life's challenges.
I place a strong emphasis on making conscious choices, and I particularly enjoy working with people on establishing appropriate boundaries and gaining effective communication skills.
My therapeutic approach is relaxed, conversational, and collaborative, and I believe there is a place for humor in our work together. My stance is one of openness and acceptance, with respect for you and your experiences, and a belief in your ability and desire to grow and change.
