My Approach to Helping

If you are like most people, you have challenges in your life and could benefit from working with a therapist or coach. Once we establish a supportive relationship we can explore how and if you want to make changes that will help you become unstuck. No matter what you think your challenges are, my decades of experience can help you get unstuck. I specialize in short-term solution-oriented therapy. However, sometimes clients come with deeper issues that require longer treatment. I also specialize in doing such in-depth work.
I am trained in hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy. The new approach that I am excited about is Brainspotting. Not only is Brainspotting very effective with most issues, it works quickly. It is not talk therapy. I understand the experience of having to face life's challenges and the pain that they can cause. Moreover, I personally know the experience therapy and coaching as a client. I am not stuck in psychological theories, labels, or judgments. I believe that everyone tries to do their best.
