My Approach to Helping
You deserve to live your personal version of a healthy, happy, and successful life. If something is blocking your way to this life right now, I believe that there are ways you can improve yourself and your life, no matter who you are. My role in that process is to:
- Offer you a comfortable environment and the most effective approaches.
- Help you understand what you need and want.
- Help you clarify your issues, and move through your fears and blocks.
- Help you take action to achieve your goals.
- Support you in learning, healing, growing, and thriving.
Over the decades I have specializing in short-term solution-oriented therapy. However, sometimes clients are ready to tackle deeper issues that require more time. I also do such in-depth work.
I understand the experience of having to face life's challenges and the pain that they can cause. Because of tools like Brainspotting, the process doesn’t have to be as painful or as lengthy as you might think. I also personally understand the experience of therapy as a client and appreciate the vulnerability, pain, and growth that comes from that experience. This powerfully informs my practice.
Like every client, you will try your best. My focus is on helping you, the person, not on fitting you into my psychological theory, label or judge you. If you are open to exploring how your spiritual beliefs can help you in your life, we can explore that. I don’t take a religious position.
