My Approach to Helping
I believe in the interconnectedness of a person’s mind, body and spirit, and I utilize this holistic view in my therapeutic approach to help people heal and attain inner peace. I employ my years of experience in clinical case management, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify and understand the relationship between their mental, physical, and physiological needs, and the effects of trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACES) on conditions such as anxiety and depression.
I strive to help clients visualize different perspectives of their stressors in order to better cope with them and practice problem solving, and also help them in identifying errors in thought processes that challenge their self-esteem and impact mental clarity. I also work with youth and their parents and families to help them better understand how adverse childhood experiences affect child development, the effects of childhood trauma on self-awareness in adulthood, and I provide instruction on parenting skills in order to recognize and dismantle negative generational patterns.
Feeling like the best version of yourself can sometimes be difficult to reach, and my goal is to provide you with the necessary support to overcome any challenges that prevent you from feeling free and being well.
