My Approach to Helping
If you feel like you’re carrying too much—anxiety, rejection, burnout, or trauma—you’re not alone. I help high-achieving women and sensitive souls soften their self-criticism, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been silenced or left behind. My approach blends EMDR, somatic therapy, yoga, and coaching in both weekly and intensive formats, virtually and in person. Together, we’ll create space for you to heal, be witnessed, and reclaim your worth.
I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, trauma, burnout, and difficult life transitions. My approach combines deep clinical training with real-world wisdom—I’m not just a therapist, I’m a human being who has walked through my own mire. My work draws from somatic therapy, parts work, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), yoga therapy, and coaching to help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your worth.
My clients often say they feel safe, seen, and understood in our work. I offer a space that’s warm, direct, and compassionate—where we can go deep without judgment and where your healing can unfold at your pace.
In addition to talk therapy, I offer trauma therapy intensives, trauma-sensitive yoga sessions, and personalized healing plans that integrate body-based practices and nervous system care. I’m also licensed in both Connecticut and New York, and I offer virtual sessions as well as in-person services.
If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, you're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out all by yourself. Reach out when you're ready, and see if we’re a good fit.
More Info About My Practice
At my practice, I offer integrative, trauma-informed therapy for women, professionals, and highly sensitive people navigating anxiety, attachment wounds, burnout, and complex life transitions. My work blends traditional talk therapy with nervous system science, somatic techniques, and compassionate, insight-oriented care.
In addition to weekly psychotherapy, I offer personalized trauma intensives that combine EMDR, somatic work, yoga therapy, sound healing, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) for deeper, immersive healing. I also provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed and licensed clinicians.
Clients can work with me directly or with my carefully trained clinical intern, who offers reduced-fee sessions. Coming soon, I’ll be collaborating with a nurse practitioner to provide integrative psychiatric care with a holistic lens.
Yoga therapy, breathwork bundles, and mind-body coaching are also available to support healing outside the traditional therapy room.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
You're not alone. And it shouldn't have to define your path forward. Many of my clients come to me after feeling unseen, rushed, or even harmed in past therapy experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, respectful, and attuned to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I welcome open conversations about what didn't work in the past so we can co-create a space that does. Your story deserves to be heard without judgment, and your healing deserves the right support.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Why doesn't going to therapy mean you're weak or flawed?
Because seeking therapy is an act of courage, not weakness. It means you're willing to look at your life with honesty and intention. We all carry wounds, patterns, and questions we can't always untangle alone. Therapy isn't about being broken; it's about being brave enough to grow, heal, and create change. Therapy isn't about finding out what's wrong with you, it's about finding what's right and building on that. Therapy also isn't about having someone tell you what to do. I will make suggestions and give feedback, but in therapy you will discover you have your own knowing, and when things don't feel right, you'll learn to trust your own gut, not what I say.
You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. In fact, many of the strongest people I know are the ones who've chosen to face their struggles head-on, with compassion, not shame.
