What's My Approach to Therapy?

Do you carry more than you show?

You might be a therapist, caregiver, or capable professional who’s always holding it together, while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck inside. You’ve done the work. You’re self-aware. But something still isn’t shifting.
There’s nothing wrong with you; your nervous system may need a different kind of support.

That’s where I come in.

I offer emotionally intelligent care that helps your system regulate and reset so healing doesn’t depend on willpower alone. My approach blends trauma-informed therapy with two powerful tools: neurofeedback brain training and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). These methods support the brain and body directly. They help you access clarity, calm, and relief, especially when talk therapy hasn't been enough.

Some clients work with me as their primary therapist. Others already have a trusted therapist, and we collaborate—your therapist holds the foundation, and I support movement when things feel stuck.

Together, we go at your pace. We honor your sensitivity and your strength.

This is care for deep feelers and high-achieving adults who are ready to feel more like themselves again, without being rushed, fixed, or re-traumatized.

My Practice & Services

I work with adults who are deeply feeling, high-capacity, and often burned out from holding so much—therapists, caregivers, empaths, and professionals who appear calm on the outside but feel overwhelmed inside.

My services include:

-Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for those seeking deeper insight, relief, or breakthrough when talk therapy hasn’t been enough
-Neurofeedback brain training to gently shift patterns related to stress, sleep, focus, and mood
-Trauma-informed psychotherapy to support emotional healing and nervous system regulation

Sessions are collaborative, spacious, and paced to meet your nervous system where it is.
I also work alongside other therapists to support clients who feel stuck, providing adjunctive services that complement ongoing therapy.

Care is available in person in Oxford, CT, and virtually across several states.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Therapy is more than just symptom relief; it's a space to reconnect with yourself, especially the parts that have been buried under stress, patterns, or pain.

The purpose of therapy, as I see it, is to help you shift from survival mode into a state where healing, clarity, and self-trust can begin to flourish. That shift doesn't come from willpower alone; it arises from feeling safe, supported, and regulated enough to explore something new.

In our work, we build resilience in the nervous system, delve into what's been challenging to hold alone, and create space for insights to become lived changes.

I don't believe in rushing or fixing. I believe in walking with you, at your pace, as you begin to feel more like yourself again.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love watching people come back to themselves.

There's something deeply meaningful about sitting with someone in their truth, their sensitivity, their questions, their quiet strength, and helping them make sense of what they're carrying.

Being a therapist allows me to bring together presence, science, and soul. I love creating space that feels grounded, safe, and curious, where clients begin to notice the shift from surviving to living more fully.

One client described it like this: I realized how far I've come. I'm no longer living from my default. The inner critic feels more like a comic book bubble now. I finally feel strong. I'm here, in the now.

These moments remind me why I do this work. It's not just about healing, it's about helping people return to who they've always been, with more clarity, freedom, and self-trust.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

I believe therapy should feel safe, respectful, and supportive. I follow the values of compassion, care, connection, and collaboration; they guide how I show up, with warmth, honesty, and deep respect for your pace and process.

I see us as a team. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strength, wisdom, and goals. I offer holistic support that honors who you are while helping you grow self-trust, clarity, and well-being.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

I see you. Many of the people I work with have tried everything and still feel unseen, stuck, or overwhelmed. Maybe therapy felt too surface-level. Maybe it stirred things up, but it didn't help you land.

If you've had a painful or disappointing experience with therapy before, please know: it wasn't your fault. The process matters. The relationship matters. The pacing matters.

I also know that therapy works best when both the therapist and the client are engaged in the process. Sometimes, a past experience didn't help simply because it wasn't the right fit or because it came at a time when your system wasn't ready. That doesn't mean you failed. It means you were in a different season.

Our nervous systems don't always respond to insight alone they need safety, timing, and space. We all go through cycles where we long for change but aren't quite able to move toward it yet. That's human.

My role is to meet you where you are, whether you're just beginning to explore or ready to take clear steps. We'll work together with your nervous system, your pace, and your truth.

You deserve therapy that feels safe, attuned, and supportive of real movement.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I believe therapy is a sacred collaboration, human helping human. The relationship we build becomes a trusted space to explore, understand, and transform your inner world.

My role is to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and guide you to gently listen to your truth. Your role is to be willing.
Together, we translate insight into growth. With time and safety, pain begins to heal. Awareness rises. Transformation unfolds.
