My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that the client’s interests are primary. I have over fifteen years of experience in serving the needs of individuals, couples, families, and children. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. I believe in the importance of respecting and promoting the right of the client’s self-determination that guides the clients in their efforts to identify and clarify their goals. I have worked in various human service capabilities such as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist, a Mental Health Case Manager, a Wraparound Facilitator, and a Hospital Clinical Social Worker. My background has served to broaden my appreciation for diversity and differences. I understand that honoring people’s differences allows for new growth and increased knowledge.
It is my goal to assist the clients in their journey towards better emotional and mental health by providing a safe environment and with the importance of treating others with respect and dignity. I specialize in stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, relationship issues, and self-esteem. My clinical approaches consist of Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Congratulations on taking this courageous step towards your recovery. I look forward to assisting you with achieving your recovery goals.
