My Approach to Helping
Are you feeling stuck? Are you in survival mode? I want you to know that change is possible. My approach to therapy is to come alongside my clients and work collaboratively with them to help them feel empowered to live a more authentic and engaged life.
I bring warmth and empathy into my sessions and I work with my clients to help provide a personalized treatment plan for each of them. I am committed to building rapport and trust with my clients and I enjoy helping individuals take a more curious and compassionate stance towards themselves. I work from an attachment-based model and enjoy incorporating a variety of modalities in my therapy approach, including psychodynamic, CBT, DBT and ACT.
Taking the first step of reaching out for help takes courage. I believe that together, we can embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery that can lead you to a greater understanding and acceptance of yourself, your strengths and your gifts. I offer both in-person and tele-health appointments.
