My Approach to Helping
My philosophy and approach to helping others stems from my own background. I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober since 2011. I first fell in love helping others when I first got sober and others reached out to me. I learned from them and it made me want to be able to help others the same way.
I decided to go back to school and now I get to do what I love. I now work with adults, adolescence and children from varying backgrounds and experiences. I come from an understanding and nonjudgmental point of view allowing others to be free to be honest and open. I use Cognitive Behavioral and Person Centered interventions, as well as other tools, to better encourage growth and healing. I also like to incorporate creativity in therapy. I find that it can provide others with differing ways to express and process their thoughts and feelings.
Now I share a practice. Feel free to explore our website and schedule an appointment. https:www.acceptancecounselinggroup.org
