My Approach to Helping
I am a Jungian Psychotherapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose goal is to assist my clients in developing more meaningful, centered lives. I have a compassionate and supportive style and enjoy working with both individuals and couples, honoring the uniqueness of each individual by creating a safe and nurturing environment.
I have a holistic and person-centered approach and believe that a client’s environment strongly impacts their emotional, physical, and mental state. I work with couples and families to understand and respect one another, acknowledge, define and negotiate their differences, and resolve conflicts in order to achieve more supportive and healthy relationships.
My practice was born from many streams of influence, including Jungian, Body-Centered, Depth Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis and Buddhist mindfulness. In addition, I have extensive experience helping clients and families negotiate issues surrounding the final stages of life. Through a process of self-discovery, I assist my clients on their journeys through life’s many challenges by helping them to develop and learn new communication and coping skills.
