What's My Approach to Therapy?

I’m a registered associate clinical social worker and LGBTQ2STGI+ affirmative therapist with over a decade in the film industry as an International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) camera department member. Trained in emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), palliative care, and SafeTALK suicide prevention, I work through a holistic, anti-oppressive lens that integrates parts work, somatic awareness, and creative expression.

As a queer person, film professional, and trauma survivor, I bring lived experience, compassion, and active collaboration to therapy—helping clients grow, explore, laugh, and rest. I work across the lifespan, specializing in LGBQ2STGI+ care, occupational stress, chronic or life-altering illness, and inner child reparenting. I especially value working with film industry folks, knowing firsthand the demands of life on set.

My Practice & Services

I offer trauma-informed, culturally grounded therapy that honors your lived experience. Whether you’re exploring identity, navigating relationships, or seeking deeper self-awareness, I've got the kind of healing that’s relational, compassionate, and rooted in liberation for you.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I wouldn't be here if I hadn't struggled too. I know what a toxic work environment feels like and how sometimes you don't have the freedom to walk away. I know how much you can love someone that hurts you, and how finding the strength to establish boundaries helps repair that hurt. I know how long therapy can take, how slow healing can be and how rewarding it is once it starts to help.
