My Approach to Helping

Life can be challenging sometimes! We can find ourselves in stressful situations with relationships, anxiety, grief, trauma or a sense of dissatisfaction with where we are in life. These times can feel overwhelming, frustrating and exhausting. It takes courage to reach out for help! Experience a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share emotional difficulties, pain, and stress. Together, we can support you with whatever your unique challenges are. We can develop your coping skills, improve your communication with others, help you enjoy more satisfying relationships, increase your self-esteem, reduce your anxiety and depression symptoms, gain support and strategies for accomplishing your goals and help you move forward. We can discover your inner wisdom, resources and joy and increase your ability to fully enjoy life. In addition to nearly 20 years of experience, I bring creativity, a commitment to continuing education, dedication, compassion, and a sense of humor to our work together.

More Info About My Practice

Not sure about therapy? Trying to find the right fit? I offer a free 30 minute consultation to discuss goals for therapy and to address any questions or concerns you may have about my practice, myself or the therapy process. A sliding fee scale is available for clients experiencing financial difficulties.  As an out-of-network provider, I am happy to provide the necessary paperwork to you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. I also work with Victim's compensation cases. I limit the number of clients in my practice to ensure that I can be fully present with each adult, adolescent, child, couple and family that I meet with. At this time I am able to offer sessions via video, phone and in person. In office and walk and talk (weather permitting) sessions available.
