What's My Approach to Therapy?

The clientele I work with suffer with all levels of life challenges, including trauma from childhood to abuse to posttraumatic stress (PTSD), complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, adjustment difficulties, and relationship difficulties. I gently navigate the client's challenges with a multimodal approach tailored for each individual. A few of the modalities I use are Hakomi, mindfulness, somatic and basic trauma treatments, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, existential, integrative, spiritual, strength-based, and holistic approaches. My Supervisor is Dr. Diane Reichmuth. At the moment, I only see clients online.

With trauma, I put my client in charge of the sessions. I use a gentle somatic, mindful approach for the client to explore while extinguishing trauma triggers. This allows my clients to recreate their relationship to their traumatic event. I work on alleviating shame, guilt, reactivity, and expanding into a new, rewarding relationship with yourself and others. Please connect and set up an initial free conversation to see if we are a good fit! I enjoy getting to know people and understand that it takes courage to reach out. Try a little 15-minute phone conversation, it's not a bother. I would love to hear from you, even if you choose another therapist.
