My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is a holistic one where we look together at the whole picture of your life, to explore what messages, patterns, and feelings are currently hindering your ability to flourish.
Gestalt therapy is mindfulness-based and focussed on the present moment which gives you an opportunity to see when and how your emotions arise and where you are getting stuck. Part of the holistic approach means having a look at the difficulties you have faced throughout your life, be it trauma, grief, abuse, or any other unique life experience, and unpacking them to see how things that might have served you in the past are no longer useful. Often, we don’t realize how much we are carrying around, and discovering what’s yours and what’s not can help you regain a sense of agency and freedom.
I work with a wide range of adult clients throughout the province of Ontario, providing accessible and inclusive online psychotherapy. My aim is to create and support a safe space for us to collaborate and explore together.
