I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I received my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University. Over the past 25 years, I have lived in five countries, and as a volunteer, I helped many refugees adjust to their new countries. I have experience working with adults with mental health challenges, including life transition issues, adjustment issues, cultural assimilation, PTSD, stress management, anxiety, depression, mood issues, grief, interpersonal relationship issues, low self-esteem, and trauma. In my practice, I combine a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I offer a trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally competent approach that is adaptable to clients’ personalities and needs. I offer a client-centred approach and provide clients with a non-judgemental, caring, and compassionate environment while working collaboratively on their therapeutic goals and needs.

Aref Psychotherapy Services is a group practice with over 30 therapists who are all professional and registered psychotherapists at the Ph.D. and Masters levels. As listed on our website, we provide services in various languages. We provide assessment and treatment services for refugees, WSIB, MVA clients, and all age groups. We are a VIRTUAL CLINIC!
