My Approach to Helping
I have found meaning in working with adult individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships (family, friends, co-workers, etc.) or challenges in adjusting to life transitions. I have had success in helping people work through the anxiety and depressive symptoms that often come up for us during these specific times. I also enjoy working with emerging adults who might be struggling to adjust to newfound responsibilities, independence, and life decisions.
More Info About My Practice
In our work together we will not only navigate immediate challenges but also find new insights and a deeper self-awareness that will help you develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others. I often draw from Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and most prominently from a Psychodynamic approach to guide you through this process of change.
It can be hard to determine which therapist is right for you simply by reading bios. Please feel free to call or email me and I would be happy to discuss whether or not we are good fit.
