My Approach to Helping
All people have strengths. People also have times in their lives when they feel stressed and overwhelmed. When you recognize your strengths, you get empowered to live in a more hopeful, purpose filled manner. In therapy sessions, we work as a team to help you understand what's working in your life and what isn't. In a caring and supportive environment, we focus on maximizing your potential and limiting negative factors. When I meet with children, I use art therapy and other expressive techniques to help find a healthy outlet for emotions and problem solving.
People frequently are concerned about the cost of therapy. I am on many insurance panels. I strongly encourage people to contact their insurance provider to find who their insurance company reimburses for and any deductibles or co-pays you have.
