My Approach to Helping
Do you or your child or adolescent feel stressed or easily overwhelmed? I provide safe compassionate support to help you significantly decrease your stress symptoms. These may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and chronic pain.
I practice Somatic Experiencing and Neuroaffective Touch. These are psychobiological methods that rewire your brain and nervous system. Together we will safely explore and work to help you regulate your nervous system. Clients experience a profound ability to feel calmer and safer in their body and are much better able to take care of themselves.
An important benefit of our work is a deep accessing to your natural inner resilience. Through our work together most of my clients are able to finally feel safe in their bodies sometimes for the first time.
I help my child and adolescent clients to connect to their inner resilience and happiness. They really enjoy coming to our sessions, which include art therapy, sandtray, Somatic Experiencing and NeuroAffective Touch.
My approach is interactive, and I have a very gentle, kind, and direct therapy style.
I have lived my life committed to my own healing and development as well as my clients. This over 30 years of meditation, yoga, personal therapy, and post advanced training in Somatic Experiencing and NeuroAffective Touch.
I have come to see my Somatic Experiencing and Neuroaffective Touch work as both deeply healing and profoundly helpful for myself and my clients.
