My Approach to Helping
Hello! I’m Rachel. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist; but more importantly I am a human who feels truly honored to witness others in their humanness and journey. I believe we all require more accepting, less correcting – more good-enough, less perfectionism – and more self-compassion. I support clients in finding more acceptance, wholeness, and aliveness in their relationships and, most importantly, within themselves. I work with clients who feel smothered by self-criticism, doubt, sadness, anxiety, overwhelm, or fear, as well as individuals who are navigating what it means to show up as themselves in various areas of life.
Through integrative practices (a combination of traditional psychotherapy and Eastern practices), I support clients in creating and enhancing more compassion, find more capacity to really feel the hard stuff, and develop more understanding of how to manage the never ending stressors and challenges that life sometimes throws at us. And, I support individuals in finding and making more room for true presence, connection, and joy in their relationships. I serve not as an expert or someone with all the answers, but as a collaborative guide who values and deeply respects who my clients are and the wisdom they already have within.
