My Approach to Helping
Do you ever get the feeling you are a human "doing" versus a human being? What would it look like if we brought in more consciousness, more awareness to our everyday experiences? My clients are women and therapists who are seeking guidance in healing self-esteem, anxiety and trauma. In our work together, I empower women to use past wounds as catalysts for growth and healing. Clients I work with experience the following emotions and challenges prior to starting therapy: smothered by self-criticism, doubt, anxiety, fear, lack of discipline and burnout within role in both personal and professional arenas. I also specialize in providing therapy to therapists experiencing these challenges.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor, I bring a blend of traditional psychotherapy interventions, Eastern practices and neuroscience (meditation, mindfulness, breathwork) to the therapy room. These integrative practices are extremely effective at creating new habits and profound changes for the women I work with. Clients are able to create and enhance more awareness, build self-compassion, find more capacity to really feel the hard stuff, and develop more understanding of how to manage the never ending stressors and challenges of life. Women and therapists are able to find and make more room for true presence, connection, grace, and joy in their relationships and create sustaining habits. I serve not as an expert or someone with all the answers, but as a collaborative guide who values and deeply respects who my clients are and the wisdom they already have within.
I provide women with an experience of their own ability to heal, grow and transform into the best version of themselves. I combine psychotherapeutic practices with spiritual teachings and science to guide women and therapists so they can live deeply empowered and joyful personal and professional lives. I have a deep passion to serve the collective, and bring about internal change that will have a ripple effect on the world.
