My Approach to Helping
Do you find yourself facing difficult, perhaps unexpected struggles? Responding to life's challenges can be hard and can result in stress and unwanted feelings or symptoms. I am here to help you gain the strength, confidence, and clarity needed to tackle life’s obstacles and to feel well.
I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood who are dealing with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship and parenting concerns, balancing work and family commitments, grief and loss, trauma recovery, and more. I also work with couples who are dealing with problems and stressors in their relationship, and who want to improve their bond.
Additionally, my practice has a special commitment to helping women and couples with the emotional and psychological issues related to reproductive health, including infertility, pregnancy and postpartum issues, birth trauma and perinatal loss. My passion for working in these areas stems from a unique blend of both personal and professional experience.
I have a collaborative, solution-focused approach to therapy. My goal is to help people build on their strengths, uncover their resources, explore unhelpful patterns, and learn new skills to help them create the changes they seek.
