Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 72 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session or schedule a make-up session.

My Approach to Helping

I am so grateful to be in a helping profession and to be able to develop relationships with new people every day. I see the therapeutic relationship as the key to growth and change, and it is very important to me that I create a space of acceptance and empathy in which to allow a person to feel safe to tell me their story. Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Each individual person has their own struggles, which sometimes manifest in the form of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), and other distressing emotional states. These feelings are symptoms of a deeper issue in most cases, which often relates back to a early life trauma, abuse, or a significant relationship in one's past. Helping to recognize patterns in ones life and relationships, and to encourage a person to trust their own insight often helps. This insight and understanding also builds a sense of true self-worth and confidence which can help the person throughout their life.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I work from a jungian (Carl Jung) and depth psychological perspective which means that I see the main goal of the psyche as integration of the Self. This integration comes from the process of making the unconscious, conscious in a person and is the process of integrating all of the aspects of one's own personality. Through this process of analysis, one develops a sense of wholeness, acceptance, self-worth, and healing. Trauma and traumatic wounds in one's life also undergo a process of transformation and healing through the therapeutic relationship.
